Richmond Open tennis tournament

My Richmond Open tennis tournament is over.
I’ve practiced tennis for years, but was always nervous and afraid to play for score.
So, I decided to sign up for the tournament to overcome that fear.
It was quite an adventure. A person playing in a tournament is supposed to overcome such obstacles as serving against the sun and adjusting their game for the wind, and to have good stamina, be able to play very late  (one of my matches ended around midnight). It is very important to be able to concentrate on the ball and eliminate all thoughts about the possible outcome. I also listened to the book “The Inner Game of Tennis: The Classic Guide to the Mental Side of Peak Performance” by W. Timothy Gallway in order to prepare myself for the event.
Anyway, I did it, and I liked the experience.
